After Lithuania regained independence, there were attempts to revive the idea of the Nation’s House on Tauras Hill. Our concept was creating a landmark showing the struggle of Lithuania through gainingindependence and we achieved that by simply creating two main boxes for the 2 concert halls coming out of a platform with many breaks and extrusions indicating the struggle and the hard times and how those 2 boxes could rise though the struggle, taking into consideration the context and the hill contour lines we were able to design the platform to have an open view of the city and all the points of interest.
